Spring has sprung!

Spring is my favorite time of year. The weather has been incredible here in the Pacific NW lately. Sunny and warm. I don't think there is any place more beautiful than Washington State when we get weather like this, which is actually more often than people think.

On the Beach

Tom and I had a great getaway last weekend. We went to Ocean Shores on the Pacific Ocean with a couple of friends, Robyn and Glen. We stayed at a very fancy casino hotel there, and thanks to his mom's hotel connections, we scored the best room in the hotel! It was a huge suite overlooking the ocean.

It was so much fun to romp on the beach. We even went kite flying, and I was actually good at it! The weather was warm and sunny, and we got a slight sunburn. A great time was had by all!
