Lawyerpalooza 2!

The Approximations played their second Lawyerpalooza contest at the Showbox in Seattle Thursday night to help raise money for music programs in the schools. They played a sizzling set of 5 songs, but unfortunately didn't win this year. It was a really fun event though, and Alan White from Yes was one of the judges. A grand time was had by all!

Here are a few pics.

Thank you Carrie for doing such a terrific job of recording this wonderful and memorable evening in pictures.

I feel so lucky to be able to play with such a remarkably talented group of musicians and to be able to call them my friends.

Just as the Approximations are such a big band that they rarely fit into one photograph, the friendship and goodwill that radiates from them is so large that it can't be described in a single comment, except maybe:

Peace, Love and Rock & Roll!

I agree completely with Tom's comment about the friendship in this band. You are all more than friends in my opinion, you are our family!

Thanks to the "Lovely Pratts" for being part of the family, and contributing both poetic, musical and technical prowess.

Life would be pretty dull without friends and music.

Now, let's launch the Treehouse Dreamers and leave behind all the lawyers and their 'Palooza'ing!

Peace and Love,
Dan

Yes, thank you Carrie for taking the pictures of us. Friends are one of the greater pleasures in this life and I'm happy to be in the Approximations family. We all have our small part to play......

Thanks for the great pics Carrie. I need to get you the ones that Marci took as well. It was another great performance shared with wonderful friends. What could be better? Linda

Carrie, thanks for your typically excellent pictures. It is nice to have a "record" of the event.

I echo what my friends and bandmates have to say. As wonderful as the experience has been, somehow I know that the best is yet to come.

Stay tuned!

Love,

Rusty
